Sharp Direct Advantage’s OTC Benefit: Advantage Card

Sharp Direct Advantage’s OTC Benefit: Advantage Card

The Sharp Direct Advantage plan has added a $100 allowance that can be used on over-the-counter medical or pharmacy supplies. This allowance comes in the form of a debit card that can only be used at specific retailers and will be issued to members enrolled in the Sharp Direct Advantage plan.

The $100 allowance refreshes every quarter (three months), the allowance does not roll over between quarters and you will not receive a new card. You can use “My Benefits Center,” to order products online through CVS or shop in person at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Vons, Albertsons, and Ralphs.

As a reminder this is only for over-the-counter medication and health supplies that are not normally covered by your health insurance.

Check this PDF from Sharp for more information and for a detailed list of what’s covered.
