Why National University?

NU offers a unique 4-week course system that allows you to take classes that fit around your schedule. The school has over 75 degree programs that vary and allow you to find the one that works best for you. NU also provides access to dozens of scholarship opportunities, many of which are aimed at adult learners who already have careers.

On top of all of that, National University also offers the spouses/dependents of County employees a 25% tuition reduction scholarship as well!

What sort of Programs does NU Offer?

National University is best known for its Computer Science, Accounting, and Education programs. But it also offers a robust engineering program as well. Their electronic and civil engineering programs are some of the top-rated programs in the country.

Obviously, that’s just a slice of what they offer. For SDCPOA members looking to further their career, they have 28 degrees in their criminal justice and law program and 36 programs in their social science and psychology program.

National University also offers both online and on-site class options for all their year-round classes.
