Open Enrollment Events to Know About
There are a lot of interesting events to look forward to during Open Enrollment, but most of them are specific to your department, location, and status. While we don’t know every event happening, we do know of many that are worth looking at if you’re able to attend!
Active City Employee Appreciation Day
City Employee Appreciation Day is October 19th! This is a picnic for City Employees and their families. You should receive an RSVP link sometime soon (if you haven’t got one already). Be sure to register and come on down for free food, goodies, and games!
MEA Membership Meeting
The SDMEA General Membership meeting is October 3rd and SDPEBA will be in attendance! We will happily answer any questions you have about enrollment or anything else about our benefits!
Reminder that this is ONLY for MEA Members, non-MEA Members cannot attend.
Retired City Employees
The Retiree Benefit Fair is happening on October 30th this year. Come down and get any of your questions answered! There will be free snacks, goodies, and some interesting presentations. As we get closer to the event we’ll let you know more information via email.
Onsite Visits
SDPEBA is currently planning to visit many local offices throughout the months of September and October. Be sure to stop by and say hi to the benefit specialists who stop by! They would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
